This one is gonna die like a decaptated RNB fan.
But this blog continues
Update your blogrolls & links, my friends!
Ed Banger is into videos! Justice‘s interpretation of Lenny Kravitz‘s classic “Let Love Rule” finally deserved a video.
You could title it: How to play with end credits. Directed by Keith Schofield. Have a taste!
PS: sorry for the irregular downtime of the blog, we’re working behind the scenes to fix this!
We have nothing against Hungarians. And after listening to Dave Scorp’s remix of Blumenkraft – Skinny Bitch, we even like ’em. The vocals kinda remind me of those Danish (we love Danish!) Fagget Fairys (you know, “Feed The Horse”, right?), and it also has a little Jane Fonda Workout flavour in it too.
Remember the great Soulwax Live Documentary. And what about that Justice DVD on Tour in the US. Amazing right? (except that way uncool bottle incident by Xavier, agreed!)
Well…here’s Boys Noize with a phat live show idea!
Boys Noize is offering his fans a chance to help him out with his video projections show during his live sets (in fact during “Starter“). So get behind your Avid or iMovie and create some visuals/animations that will be played during his upcoming tour!
AND…If your submission makes the cut, you and a friend will be invited down to the show in your town to see it all go down! Not bad, huh?
All submission due October 15th, and all the assets (incl. mp3!) & detailed info can be found right here: http://rocksteadyla.com/empoweryourself/
Good luck! And check the video below before you get started!
BONUS – check out Kontact Me – Boys Noize (Magna Remix) that landed in my mailbox.
Vitalic’s second single (one of the best tracks on Flashmob): Poison Lips!
Scion CD Sampler V26 is just another outstanding collection of banging beats, courtesy of French producer The Toxic Avenger. The 14-track sampler, available September 29 somewhere in the USA, features five new hair-raising Toxic tracks, with remixes from Designer Dr*gs, The Juan Maclean, Ladytron, Switch, Acid Girls, Oceleot, Jakwob, Harvard Bass and Burns.
The album will be distributed physically for free at all Scion events, various dealerships, and retail shops nationwide. The remixes will be available for purchase at all major online retailers, with 100 percent of the proceeds going back to the label and artists. In other words: not in Belgium. So anyone who gets his/her hands on this peace of thrash art –> mail me.
The Toxic Avenger, a.k.a. Simon Delacroix, is an electro thrash producer hailing from Paris, France. I could give you the official press release, but hey, he’s an underground god from France.
You can still listen to the sampler, while somewhere else on the planet you’ll be able to find it for sure:
